From the Principal
As Term 2 draws to a close, I would like to say thank you to all the children, staff and families at St. Johns for another outstanding 10 weeks of learning and growth....
Wow! It seems unreal to think that we are at the end of Term 2 and half way through the 2019 school year. Term 2 has been fantastic with many celebrations as a school.....
Our SAPSASA Netball and Soccer Teams played on Friday 31st May. This year there was a new format where you played against a number of schools on the day.....
In Ms Mashford’s class this term we have been very busy doing lots of learning, and we have also had a lot of different experiences with people coming into school and us going out into the community.....
This term has been a great term of learning in the Year 5/6 unit. We have all thoroughly enjoyed having Miss Button as the new face in the senior unit, and enjoying her great art lessons!.....
In Ms Whiffen’s Reception class, we have had a terrific term full of learning, fun activities and new adventures. We especially enjoyed Swimming week, the Crows Clinic, Basketball Clinic with CJ, and the School Disco......
Term 2 has been filled with learning, imagination and discovery in the 1/2 Learning Community. We have learnt so many topics in math's including number, money and how to measure using informal units. The students have loved engaging with their peers in math's rotations, using hands on learning to demonstrate their understandings. .......
