This term has been a great term of learning in the Year 5/6 unit. We have all thoroughly enjoyed having Miss Button as the new face in the senior unit, and enjoying her great art lessons!
This term we have has plenty of opportunities in sport. The senior girls and boys were able to try out for the SAPSASA Netball & Soccer teams. Both teams played fantastically on the day but unfortunately did not make it through to the next round.
In History we have been learning all about the background of migration and settlement within early Australian history. To compliment our learning we recently went to visit the Migration museum, where the students were led on a journey throughout time. We also stopped at the Haigh's Chocolate Factory, a South Australian icon and discussed all things food production.
We have finished our STEM journey with stop motion, for some it was a steep learning curve but a great experience overall with some great results.
